Forgiveness is a resentment or anger as a result of a perceived offense, disagreement, or mistake or ceasing to demand punishment or restitution.

The forgiveness of letting go of grudges and the bitterness. Forgiveness can even lead to feelings of understanding, empathy and compassion for the one who hurt you. Back in the old 12th through 14th centuries their were religions that had different similarities in forgiveness. Religions like Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, Islam and Hinduism all had something about forgiving something in their area, country or religion. In Judaism, if a person causes harm, but then sincerely and honestly apologizes to the wrong individual and then tries to rectify the wrong individual. Buddhism use as a practice to prevent harmful thoughts from causing havoc on one's mental well-being and Hinduism and fusion words based on it, describe the concept of forgiveness.

Most world religions include teachings on the nature of forgiveness and many of these teachings provide and underlying basis for many varying modern day traditions and practices of forgiveness. This is important to forgive anybody because you never know what did this person did to the other person or you didn't come at the right place at the right time and made a horrible decision in yourself. It is also important because many people hold on a grudge because it offers the illusion of power and a preserve feeling of security. It is never too late to forgive, but you can forgive too soon. To forgive is to love and to feel worthy of love.

In conclusion I learned that forgiveness don't effect other people's lives, it effects yourself your family and even the people, friends or neighbors around you. Just feel worthy of forgiving somebody and that is why it is important to forgive people.
